How to Make Additional Modifications Assigned Through Workflow
Workflows are assigned additional modifications all the time.
If you have already completed Cascade training and you have a live asset with which to work, please follow along using your real asset. If you are using this guide for practice, please always use the _playground site. Yes, it starts with an underscore. It is a test site specifically meant for practicing.
Follow these steps to learn how to make additional modifications to a workflow in Cascade.
Step 1
Autogenerated Email
From the autogenerated email notification which notifies you of the need for additional modifications, click the third link at the end of the first paragraph, the one with the long text stating the workflow asset's name and the stage of workflow it is in. This will open a new browser tab directly to the workflow asset. If you are not already logged into Cascade, you will have to log in.
Step 2
Read All Comments
Make sure you are looking at the correct workflow for the correct asset by reviewing that information on the this workflow. Then, click the comment icon and read the comment. If you do not understand the request, contact the Web Team by creating a ticket by going to sandiego.edu/web-requests.
Step 3
Edit
Scroll back up and click the Edit button to begin making the assigned modifications.
Step 4
Make Edits
Step 5
Advance Button
If the preview looks good and you want to re-submit your workflow, click the Advance button.
Step 6
Content Check
If you need to add any additional comments, specific to what was initially commented on by the technical or content reviewer, then add your comments into the Enter Workflow Comments box. If not, or once commenting is complete, continue with the rest of the normal submission process to run the content check and advance it back to be reviewed.
