How to Contact the Web Team
Everyone needs help along the way, and there are a lot of systems and different people you need to contact to get help. Remember, if you do not know whom to contact, then contact the Help Desk by dialing ext: 7900 on campus, or 1 (619) 260-7900 if you are off campus.
This lesson is for when you know you need to contact the excruciatingly suave Web Team.
Follow the steps below to contact the Web Team.Step 1
Select Your Browser
To contact the web team, create a web request. This allows all issues to be tracked, recorded, and delegated to the first available specialist. To begin this process, open a web browser.

Raise this Request on Behalf of…
You can also submit a ticket for someone else. If you do want to submit a ticket for someone else, select, “Yes," then type in that user's email address. If you are raising it for yourself, you have to select the option for, "No.”

Copy and Paste Your URL
The Page URL field requires a specific URL. The best way to accomplish this is to open a new tab to the web page you are submitting a ticket about, then copy and paste the URL from that tab into the web request field. This step shows a video of right-clicking to get the shortcut menu with the copy and paste options. If there is no specific URL for your request, just use https://www.sandiego.edu.

Submit Your Ticket
When your ticket is complete, click the Submit button. You should receive this confirmation screen.

Reply with Email
This is what the emails from the ticketing system look like, so you know these are not spam. All responses related to a ticket will be sent through your email. To reply or add a comment, click the Reply button and add your comment. Additional attachments can also be added by attaching them in a reply.
