How to Edit a Page
This lesson will depict the most basic aspects of editing an asset, with a focus on editing a page. More detailed editing options and other aspects of the editing process will be covered in subsequent lessons.
If you have already completed Cascade training and you have a live asset with which to work, please follow along using your real asset. If you are using this guide for practice, please always use the _playground site. Yes, it starts with an underscore. It is a test site specifically meant for practicing.Follow these steps to learn how to edit an already existing page in Cascade.
Step 1
Select the Asset to Edit
Step 2
Confirm the Correct Asset is Selected
Step 4

Basic page settings such as Title, Display in Navigation, and the Navigation Title (optional) appear at the top and can be changed. Notice that the name of the page is not an option to change any longer.

When your edits are complete and you wish to preview your changes, or you want to confirm that your changes have been saved, click the Preview Draft button.
Step 8

This is how you would preview your edits prior to submitting them. Warning! This draft is now only saved on your account. No one else can view it, and it is not live for users yet. Continue with the next lesson to learn where to go from here.
