How to Upload Images into Cascade
Images and documents must be uploaded into Cascade before they can be used on a page. That means uploading files is generally done before editing a page. This is also why every site in Cascade has an images folder and a documents folder. They are repositories that do not have index pages. All of your images and documents should go in these folders or in one of their sub-folders rather than in your page folders.
You should resize and crop your photos to be the exact dimensions you want them to be BEFORE uploading them into Cascade. If you do not know how to resize and/or crop an image, check out Image Manipulation for the Web training.
If you have already completed Cascade training and you have a live asset with which to work, please follow along using your real asset. If you are using this guide for practice, please always use the _playground site. Yes, it starts with an underscore. It is a test site specifically meant for practicing.
